More Data Shows Android Gaining On iPhone

MASHABLE — Quantcast released its North American mobile OS market share report for May 2010 today and the results are indicative of a trend we have seen from other sources: The iPhone is still the market leader, but Android is making big gains.The report measured mobile web consumption based on mobile OS for smartphones in North America, and listed iOS (nee, iPhone OS) as the leader with 58.4% marketshare.
