Will Trendistic Trump Trendrr For Tracking Twitter Trends?
GIGAOM — As we saw with the death of Michael Jackson and the Iranian election protests, statistics on tweets help to reveal how information spreads across the web. For many, Trendrr has emerged as the digital tracking service of choice, lauded for its both its ability to procure stats and charts on Twitter trends and for its easy-to-use user interface. But while some may find Trendrr’s UI intuitive, compared with a lesser-known rival, Buenos Aires-based Trendistic, I’ve found it hard to navigate. Trendrr - The Freemium Web Charting Service
Let's say you want to track how something you are working on is doing. You can look at it's web traffic on comScore, Compete, Quantcast, Alexa, etc. You can check out how it is doing on Google Trends.
